Maractus
To Make a Musical (Japanese: VS マラカッチ VS Maractus), titled VS Maractus in the Shogakukan Asia translation, is the 482nd chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga, and the 22nd chapter of the Black & White arc.
It is subtitled Maractus (Japanese: 準備 Preparation) in the VIZ Media translation and To Make a Musical in the Shogakukan Asia translation.
Plot

Black reviews his offer from Grimsley, agonizing over whether he should battle him at the risk of losing his Badges. Overwhelmed with the decision, Black falls unconscious. Grimsley chuckles at Black's inability to consider betting anything else, then decides against waking him up to avoid stressing him out once more. Examining the Team Plasma Grunt he had caught, Grimsley discovers a note containing information about Relic Castle.
Some time later, Black finds himself in Nimbasa City, carried there by White with Brav's help. Black begins to tell White about the imposter on Route 4, but she reveals she had already known, gesturing to the Grunt tied to his Maractus on the ground.
White explains that while Black was asleep, she had been working on the Pokémon Musical. She shows him the progress she had made on the exterior of the building, then brings him inside to give him a tour. When they arrive, White is instantly swarmed with various staff members who ask for her guidance. She effortlessly assists all of them, even offering them new suggestions. She then makes arrangements for the rehearsal to begin, studying it closely while providing feedback.
As Black watches White work from nearby, a woman comments on just how much effort White has put into the Musical. Black recognizes her as Elesa, the Gym Leader of Nimbasa City. Elesa explains that White had told her much about him, including his goal of battling every Gym Leader. She tells him that he will have to wait until the Musical is over before he can have a battle with her, disappointing him.
As White continues to work hard on the Musical, opening day soon arrives.
