Kent (Japanese: ケント Kento) is a character in Pokémon Concierge. He is Haru's ex-boyfriend who visits the Pokémon Resort as a guest from the city.

History

Kent was Haru's boyfriend for six-and-a-half years before he suddenly broke up with her via a text message. This incident, among many other things, led to Haru pursuing a new life at the Pokémon Resort.

In Where I Belong, Kent appeared as a guest to the Pokémon Resort to celebrate him becoming an area manager at his workplace, and met up with Haru after not seeing her in a while. Shocked over the fact that a former businesswoman like Haru ended up working at the Pokémon Resort, Kent initially thought Haru was unhappy with her life in the city and needed an escape. However, over the course of his stay at the Resort, Kent grew to realize Haru has found where she belongs. He expressed happiness for her new career and thanks her for his stay.

Character

Kent and Haru

Kent is soft-spoken and has a somewhat awkward personality. Despite their breakup, Kent and Haru remain on amicable terms. Haru treated Kent like she does any other guest at the Resort, and hoped he'll visit the place again soon.

Pokémon

Arcanine
Kent's Arcanine

Arcanine is Kent's only known Pokémon. Kent brought Arcanine with him when he visited the Pokémon Resort, and Arcanine saved Haru from falling into a river during a storm. The next day, Haru, Kent, and their Pokémon have fun at the Resort; at one point, Kent's Arcanine ends up stuck on the Resort's tube slide, but Haru manages to help it get out by tickling it and making it laugh, which allows it to loosen up and slide down.

Arcanine is well-behaved and likes to lick people and Pokémon it deems friendly. When Haru put up her hands to Arcanine, she noticed it had dry paws, which Haru helped cure by giving it some cream.

None of Arcanine's moves are known.
