Rulings
- Jamming Tower prevents Pokémon from using attacks listed on "Technical Machine" Pokémon Tool cards. At the same time, Jamming Tower makes it so that Technical Machines attached to Pokémon are not discarded from them at the end of the player's turn.[1][2]
- Jamming Tower only shuts down effects of attached Pokémon Tool cards. The Pokémon Tools themselves are still considered to be attached, for the purposes of cards that check for attached Pokémon Tools, eg. Probopass's "Assault Laser" attack,[1] Genesect's "ACE Nullifier" Ability.
- Jamming Tower does not override the ruling on Hero's Medal, which states that the player can't play it by attaching it onto a Pokémon VMAX with 100 HP or less remaining.[1]
- Consider a Cleffa with 30 HP and Bravery Charm attached, a Jamming Tower in play, and an opposing Ting-Lu using its "Ground Crasher" attack to deal 30 damage and discard the Jamming Tower Stadium. In this situation, although the damage is done first, the check for the Knock Out does not happen until after all effects are resolved — that is, discarding the Jamming Tower Stadium, which will re-activate Bravery Charm and give Cleffa +50 HP, saving it from being Knocked Out.[2]
Trivia
This card's effect is identical to that of Lysandre Labs, a card previously released in the Forbidden Light expansion.
