Brain Gain (Japanese: 技後特殊ブースト1付与 Special Boost 1 After Move) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.

Effect

When the sync pair successfully uses a move, the user has a chance of increasing its Special Moves ↑ Next effect by one rank. The skill can range from Brain Gain 1 to Brain Gain 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a greater chance of activation. Brain Gain 9 will always raise the user's Special Moves ↑ Next effect. The skill applies to both the Trainer's and the Pokémon's moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
