Blunting Strike (Japanese: 相手にP技B技後攻撃↓ Attack Reduction After Pokémon Uses Move or Buddy Move on Opponent) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the sync pair's Pokémon successfully uses a move or sync move, it has a chance of lowering the target's Attack by one stat rank. The skill can range from Blunting Strike 1 to Blunting Strike 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Blunting Strike 9 will always lower the target's Attack. Currently, only Blunting Strike 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's moves, including status moves and
buddy moves, but not
max moves.
