Lua error displaying on gadget JavaScript pages

Some time ago, I have updated {{script doc auto}} to display better in dark mode, but as a side effect, it is displaying the following error on gadget JavaScript pages:

Lua error in mw.text.lua at line 25: bad argument #1 to 'match' (string expected, got nil). Codename Noreste (talk) 21:48, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
