The wither storm's insides is a cavernous space, shrouded in a purple-pinkish fog, located deep within the wither storm. It is the location of the command block that powers the creature. Jesse and Reuben travel there with the objective of destroying the block.

History

After entering the wither storm's insides, Jesse lightly scolds Reuben for surprising them, though also expresses relief at not being alone. The two encounter citizens in the process of withering while navigating the area, when suddenly the place begins to rotate, causing both Jesse and Reuben to stumble and land beside Otis. Reuben runs away in fear at the sight of the butcher.

As they continue, they find the command block at the center of an obsidian platform, surrounded by tentacles acting as arches. Jesse equips the ultimate weapon and strikes the block, triggering retaliation from the tentacles inside. Jesse hits the command block again, causing the entire place to rotate upside down. With the command block now on the ceiling, Jesse attempts to climb up but falls after climbing on a ledge that reveals itself to be a wither storm head.

Unable to climb, Jesse decides to use the head's tractor beam to get closer to the block. After successfully using the tractor beam, Jesse damages the head's eye and then jumps, grabbing one of the tentacles around the command block. Jesse drops the weapon, which Reuben retrieves and hands back to them.

After returning the weapon, Reuben becomes caught on the teeth of the head and falls through a hole below. In panic, Jesse screams and strikes the command block a third time, finally destroying the wither storm. Jesse then falls into the same hole that Reuben fell through.

Location

The area is located within the wither storm. It is accessed through an opening on the storm’s body.

Geography

The space is mostly covered with sand made with withering materials, with occasional lines of withered bricks, planks, and cobblestone. The whole area is filled with seemingly endless holes. Clusters of glowing purple blocks can also be seen around the place, and glowing purple mushrooms inhabit the area.

Purple redstone circuitry runs through parts of the area. The withered citizens are attached to patches of withered cobblestone.

In the center, there's an obsidian platform where the command block is found. On the opposite side, depending on whether the place has rotated, a large hole can be seen where Jesse and Reuben fell.

The whole place occasionally rotates, changing the layout and direction.

Trivia

• The size of the area does not match the size of the external model of the wither storm. This can be verified by comparing the size of the interior to the wither storm’s exterior model.
• The model of Reuben, the usher, is reused in two different locations inside the wither storm.
