Ascella
Ascella, also known as Zeta Sagittarii, was a star system in the Alpha Quadrant. It was a trinary star system consisting of the two components Ascella (the official name for Zeta Sagittarii Aa) and Zeta Sagittarii Ab, which together formed a binary star system, and Zeta Sagittarii B. The Ascella system was visible from Earth in the constellation Sagittarius. It was approximately 88 light years from Sol.
In 2401, Ascella's location was labeled on a star chart used aboard the SS Eleos XII. (PIC: "Disengage")

The location of this star system was seen on the bridge of the SS Eleos XII on what appears to be an updated chart from Star Trek: Star Charts. Dave Blass published pictures of the set on his website.Information on this system was derived from the episodes, the reference works Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, and real-world sources.
