Sagittarius

Sagittarius (Latin for half-man, half-horse archer) was a constellation visible from Earth. Astronomical objects in this constellation were located in the Alpha Quadrant. (PIC: "Disengage")

The name of this constellation was derived from Omega Sagittarii's Bayer designation. In Bayer designation, the name begins with a Greek letter followed by a genitive of the constellation's name.
