Zalkonian space

Zalkonian space was the territorial region of space claimed by the Zalkonians. This space was in Sector 9569, Alpha Quadrant, and at least one other sector. The planet Zalkon was also found in this region.

In 2366, the USS Enterprise-D became the first Federation vessel to enter this space. They were transporting the Zalkonian "John Doe" to his people. (TNG: "Transfigurations")
