Zahl territory was the territorial region of space claimed by the Zahl. It was located in Grid 005 in the Borg spatial designations of the Delta Quadrant. The Zahl were the primary species in this grid in 2374.

Locations within this territory included a Zahl colony and the Zahl homeworld.

On day one of the "Year of Hell", a Krenim patrol ship intercepted and attacked the USS Voyager, claiming it violated a disputed region of Krenim space, which the Voyager crew believed was Zahl territory. The commandant of the patrol ship responded that the Zahl had no legimate claim to that region of space and that they had taken what had been belonged to the Krenim.

On day four of the "Year of Hell", the Voyager was visited by a Zahl representative. When asked by Captain Kathryn Janeway about the Kremim's claim to that region of space, the representative responded that in the past that the area had belonged to the Kremim. They dominated the area for many years and they were able to maintain their dominance through the use of powerful temporal weapons. A generation before, the Zahl fought back and took back the planets annexed by the Krenim. The Krenim military forces were dismantled. For the next few decades, Krenim ships would wander the region, claiming that it belonged to them. When the Krenim timeship altered the timeline, these events were erased from history.
