Vup

Mister Vup was a male Beta Annari who worked as a bodyguard for Bjayzl on Freecloud.

Vup inspected Captain Cristóbal Rios when the latter posed as an interfacer brokering a deal with Bjayzl to exchange Seven of Nine for Dr. Bruce Maddox. Rios was able to carefully fool Vup's heightened senses and was granted an audience with Bjayzl.

When Rios and Jean-Luc Picard brought Seven to Bjayzl, it was revealed that Bjayzl and Seven had prior history. While Bjayzl's guards dropped their weapons during the tense standoff, Vup had another weapon concealed up his sleeve. While Seven was threatening Bjayzl, Vup prepared to draw his weapon, but was shot by Rios before he could act. (PIC: "Stardust City Rag")
