Vegan system

The Vegan system was a star system.

During the Dominion War, the USS Defiant was assigned to escort convoy PQ-1 to the Vegan system in late 2374. (DS9: "The Sound of Her Voice")

This system was only mentioned in dialogue.
It is uncertain whether the Vegan system was associated with the star Vega, the planet Vega IX, or Vega colony. The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 453 assumes this location to be the Vega system, 26.5 light years from Earth.
