Una glucose matrix

The Una glucose matrix was glucose structural pattern used by the food synthesizers aboard the USS Enterprise. Essentially a hybrid of the more common Katzman and Gupta glucose matrices, it was claimed by Una to be more reliable then either and to provide more nutritious and palatable results.

While trapped in a turbolift, the topic of which glucose matrix the Enterprise used came up between newly assigned Ensign Spock and Number One. Upon learning about this matrix, Spock observed that it shared a name with Una. (ST: "Q&A")
