21st Street Mission

The 21st Street Mission was a welfare organization associated with the Sanctuary Districts of Downtown Los Angeles. Its purpose was to meet the residents' daily needs. To achieve this, the organization's workers had set up a donation center where they accepted perishable and non-perishable items. Items such as toiletries, books, foods (canned and non-canned), and water were placed in open-air containers. Other items, like clothing, socks, jackets, and bedding were placed in a blue container.

In 2024, Guinan brought a tub of goods to this donation center after she shuttered her bar 10 Forward Avenue. Among the goods, there was a teddy bear. With Jean-Luc Picard's assistance, she delivered the items and assorted them into the right containers. (PIC: "Watcher")

This is presumed to be an homage to the 21st Street Mission from the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "The City on the Edge of Forever".
