Toron was a star system in the Beta Quadrant.

In 2257, this system's location was labeled on the star chart showing the trajectory of Lieutenant Spock's shuttle. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
The name of this system came from the source material used, the Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, to create the star chart seen in Star Trek: Discovery. According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 65) and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", pp. 31), the primary of the Toron system was a M-class star. Located in Klingon space, this system was the site of a historic battle.
