A toroidal antenna was a communications device located on the outside of a Federation Class 2 shuttle.

In 2373, Lieutenant Tuvok asked Neelix to inspect the signal relays on the toroidal antenna, after their shuttle crash landed on a Nezu colony planet. (VOY: "Rise")
