Signal relay

A signal relay was a component of a toroidal antenna, a communications device located on the outside of a Federation Class 2 shuttle.

In 2373, Lieutenant Tuvok asked Neelix to check if the signal relays had been damaged after their shuttle crash landed on a Nezu colony planet. (VOY: "Rise")
