The Starfleet Aquatic Research Center was a Starfleet research center dedicated to the study of the ecosystem which exists in a body of water.

In 2341, this facility was overrun by a rapid growth of algae – an event which would be known as the Great Soolian Algae Crisis. The crisis was resolved when Federation Ambassador Koro, a sentient octopus, successfully communicated with the algaeic slime mind.

The event figured prominently in the fictional setting of Brad Boimler's holonovel Crisis Point II: Paradoxus. (LD: "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus")

It is unclear whether this station was a real location or a fictional creation.
