Starbase 4077

Starbase 4077, abbreviated as SB4077, was a Federation starbase with two facilities, administered by Starfleet in the Beta Quadrant. It was located in Sector 001.

In 2364, the location of the Starbase 4077 facilities was labeled on the "Starbase Ops Status Sol Sector" map. (TNG: "Conspiracy" okudagram)

This starbase was only mentioned in writing.
The number 4077 was an in-joke reference to M*A*S*H. In the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 3rd ed., p. 466, it was stated that after "The Neutral Zone" had aired, where Starbase 718 was mentioned in dialogue, it was decided that the starbase numbers shouldn't go much higher than 500.
The current location of Starbase 4077 in the Beta Quadrant was based on the star chart seen in the Star Trek: Prodigy episode "Starstruck", which showed that the bulk of Sector 001 was in this quadrant. The Sol system was located at the extreme edge of this sector in the Alpha Quadrant.
