Starbase 0834

Starbase 0834, abbreviated SB0834, was a Federation starbase administered by Starfleet in the Beta Quadrant. This base was located in Sector 001.

In 2364, the location of Starbase 0834 was labeled on the map "Starbase Ops Status Sol Sector". (TNG: "Conspiracy" okudagram)

This starbase was only mentioned in writing.
In the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 3rd ed., p. 466, it was stated that after "The Neutral Zone" had aired, where Starbase 718 was mentioned in dialogue, it was decided that the starbase numbers shouldn't go much higher than 500.
The current location of Starbase 0834 in the Beta Quadrant was based on the star chart seen in the Star Trek: Prodigy episode "Starstruck", which showed that the bulk of Sector 001 was in this quadrant. The Sol system was located at the extreme edge of this sector in the Alpha Quadrant.
