St. James Infirmary Blues

"St. James Infirmary Blues" was an Earth song and a rendition of it performed by Cab Calloway was included in the Betty Boop cartoon Snow-White.

The film, which included the song, was viewed hundreds of times by Craft while stranded in a V'draysh escape pod. (ST: "Calypso")

The authorship of the song is disputed. The song may have evolved from an Irish folk song called "The Unfortunate Rake". The song was popularized in the 1920s when renditions were recorded by both Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong
