Solarion IV

Solarion IV was the fourth planet in the Solarion system. This planet was located in a sector of the Alpha Quadrant. Located near the Federation-Cardassian border, this planet was the home for a Federation colony.

In 2368, the Cardassians destroyed the colony in a plot to frame the Bajorans. Survivors were evacuated to Lya Station Alpha by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Ensign Ro")

The location of Solarion IV was labeled on a tactical map during the Dominion War. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets", display graphic)

This planet's quadrant of origin was inferred based on the position of the Cardassian Union in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".
In the script, the pronunciation for Solarion was "soh-LEHR-ee-un". [1]
In the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47; "United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), it was implied that the colony had been rebuilt on Solarion IV and, by 2378, had become a Federation member.
