Rot-gut

Rot-gut was a cheap, poor-quality alcoholic liquor distilled especially in Earth's Ancient West.

When Deputy Bennings visited the North Star bar, in 2153, he asked the bartender for something to drink, specifically, "Anything but that rot-gut you were pouring yesterday." (ENT: "North Star")
