Regulus
Regulus was one of four stars in the Alpha Leonis system. Together with its white dwarf companion, they formed a binary star system. This system was located in the Beta Quadrant and was approximately 79 light years from Sol. In addition, this system was located three hundred light years from the Bajoran system. In 2154, a Vulcan High Command attack fleet massed in this star's system in preparation for an abortive preemptive strike against the Andorians. Regulus was the closest accessible star known to be outside the maximum range of Andorian Imperial Guard listening posts. (ENT: "Kir'Shara")
