Reed Birney (born 11 September 1954; age 70) is an actor who played Luq in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds second season episode "Among the Lotus Eaters".

Birney co-starred with Jason Isaacs in Mass (2021) and had a supporting role in The Menu (2022). He is also known for his recurring roles in the series Gossip Girl (2007-09, with Wallace Shawn), House of Cards (2013-17, with Reg E. Cathey, Maryann Plunkett, Jimmi Simpson, Benito Martinez, Ralph Byers, Shawn Doyle, John Jarvis, and Kenneth Tigar), The Blacklist (2014-15, with Thomas Kopache and Hélène Cardona), Titan (2018-22, with Rachel Nichols, Sean Meldrum, Craig Henry, and Steve Rizzo), and Home Before Dark (2021-22, with Michael Greyeyes, Lindy Booth, Sharon Lawrence, Scott Lawrence, Adrian Holmes, and Damon Runyan).
