Outpost 47

Outpost 47 was a Cardassian border outpost located in the Almatha sector along the Demilitarized Zone that served as both defense and advanced warning. On Stardate 48467.3, it was under the command of Gul Toran of the Sixth Order.

In 2371, Outpost 47 was attacked and destroyed by the USS Defiant, which had been hijacked by Thomas Riker. (DS9: "Defiant")

This outpost's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of the Cardassian Union as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".
