Lorenze system

The Lorenze system was a formerly inhabited planetary system in the Lorenze Cluster, a stellar cluster in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. This system was near Starbase 103.

This system consisted of the planet Minos, which was the homeworld for the Minosians. The Minosians went extinct when one of their automated weapon systems turned against them.

In the 2360s, Federation long-range probes discovered that all intelligent life in this system had disappeared. In 2364, the USS Drake was sent to the system to investigate what had happened to these lifeforms. (TNG: "The Arsenal of Freedom")
