Logic sciences

Logic sciences was a research department with a dedicated science laboratory aboard the USS Discovery, led by Brianna. Meditation was a component of their work.

While reallocating science lab space aboard Discovery in 2257, Ensign Sylvia Tilly indicated that she'd never seen Brianna do anything other than meditate, even though logic sciences was assigned a two-level science lab on deck 3. To accommodate Lieutenant Paul Stamets' spore drive research, Tilly reassigned Brianna's logic sciences lab to a utility closet on deck 12. (DIS: "Brother")
