Launch sequence

A launch sequence was a series of events that took place before, during, and after the launch of a rocket or product.

In 2365, Jean-Luc Picard described a screen-console in the Iconian gateway control room as being solid amber. After he found the correct interface, Data informed him to key the combination of "blue, amber, amber, red" to begin the launch sequence for an Iconian probe. (TNG: "Contagion")
