Amber (color)

Iconian computer screen console

An amber-colored interface display (right)

Amber was a color named after the substance of the same color, amber.

In 2365, Jean-Luc Picard described a screen-console in the Iconian gateway control room as being solid amber. After he found the correct interface, Data informed him to key the combination of "blue, amber, amber, red" to begin the launch sequence for an Iconian probe. (TNG: "Contagion")

In 2376, Neelix hoped that his sunburn would fade to a beautiful amber colored suntan soon. (VOY: "Tsunkatse")
