Lapeerian

The Laapeerians were a humanoid species native to the planet Laapeeria.

Biology

Laapeerians had green skin, eyes with red pupils and yellow sclera, two small crests atop their heads, and two large fins on the sides of their faces. (LD: "First First Contact")

History

In 2381, the Federation starships USS Archimedes and USS Cerritos were assigned a first contact mission to Laapeeria. Due to an unexpected incident that disabled the Archimedes, Captain Carol Freeman of the Cerritos conducted the first in-person contact with the Laapeerian leader. The Laapeerians revealed themselves to be a friendly but very casual people who were fond of alcohol. (LD: "First First Contact")

In 2382, a Laapeerian visited the cruise ship Cosmic Duchess. (LD: "The Best Exotic Nanite Hotel")

The Laapeerians were described in the episode's audio description as "green aliens with fish-like faces".
