Klothos was a star system in the Beta Quadrant. It was a single star system with a single star.

In 2257, this system's location was labeled on the star chart showing the trajectory of Lieutenant Spock's shuttle. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")

This location was only mentioned in writing.
The name of this system came from the source material used, the Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, to create the star chart seen in Star Trek: Discovery. According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 64) and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", pp. 31; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the primary of the Klothos system was a G-class star. This star was located in Klingon space.
