A kiosk was a booth where food items could be obtained.

In 2369, while visiting Deep Space 9, Geordi La Forge found the pasta al fiorella he'd gotten from the Replimat disgusting and decided to visit a kiosk and obtain some real food. (TNG: "Birthright, Part I")
