Booth

A booth was a stall, compartment, or light structure for the sale of goods or for display purposes, as at a market, exhibition, or fair.

In 2268, the Empire TV television program Name the Winner made use of sound effects. A man sitting behind the camera at a sound effects booth provided them. (TOS: "Bread and Circuses")
