Kathryn Lyn (born 19 April) is a comedian and Hugo Award nominated writer who is involved in three franchise series.

Lyn was initially hired as the "canon consultant" on Star Trek: Lower Decks, and later taken on by Mike McMahan as a writer and executive story editor for Season 2 of Lower Decks. She was the supervising producer for Season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and is involved with a currently unnamed series that is still in development.

She was nominated for her work on the Lower Decks episode "wej Duj". [1] The character T'Lyn from that episode was named for Lyn, who cosplayed at conventions for several years, first as K'Lyn, a Klingon-Vulcan hybrid, and later as just a Vulcan of the same name. As a lifelong Star Trek fan, her favorite episodes include Star Trek: The Next Generation's "Frame of Mind" and Star Trek: Voyager's "Bride of Chaotica!". [2]
