An invoice was a document that summarized the amount of money owed by a customer.

In 2375, Ezri Dax cited the multitude of contracts, invoices, balance sheets and shipping orders as the reasons why she never went into her family's business. (DS9: "Prodigal Daughter")

In 2381, Grand Nagus Rom presented Admiral Vassery with a ceremonial bust in the latter's likeness to mark their negotiations for Ferenginar to join the Federation. Immediately after he received the bust, Rom's wife and First Clerk, Leeta presented Vassery with a "ceremonial invoice", to be paid in latinum. (LD: "Parth Ferengi's Heart Place")
