Hermes (shuttle)

The Hermes was a Federation Type 14 shuttlecraft in service to Starfleet during the early 25th century.

In 2402, Rear Admiral Beverly Crusher and Admiral Jean-Luc Picard took the Hermes to Sol Station. Their son, Ensign Jack Crusher, was on board the shuttle. The parents were transporting their son to his next assignment, on the newly christened USS Enterprise-G. (PIC: "The Last Generation")
