Hegh'ta

Hegh'ta was a single star system in the Beta Quadrant.

In 2257, the system's location was labeled on the star chart showing the trajectory of Lieutenant Spock's shuttle. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")

This star system was only mentioned in writing.

The name of this system came from the source material used, the Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, to create the star charts seen in both Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard.

Further information on this system could be had from the Star Trek: Star Charts' and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", pp. 31; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"). The primary of the Hegh'ta system was classified as a G-class star. This star was located in Klingon space.

StarTrek.com translated Hegh'ta from the Klingon language to English as "death accomplished".[1](X)
