Harcourt Fenton Mudd (android)

A series of android duplicates of Harcourt Fenton Mudd were used by Mudd sometime around the 2250s.

Mudd used these androids in a con in which he would pose as a female bounty hunter and sell one android to each bounty hunter interested in turning Mudd over to Starfleet. They were "thinly skinned with replicant DNA", and programmed to distract the bounty hunters until the real Mudd had gotten away with their money. Despite being convincing replicas, their structural integrity was fairly shoddy, and they were liable to lose a limb at a modest tug.

Over the course of one week, the USS De Milo ended up taking possession of several of these androids.

A number of the androids also performed various (mostly menial) tasks for Mudd on his ship. (ST: "The Escape Artist")
