Goth was an Etanian male who led an invasion force against the Nezu.

His fleet was manipulating artificial asteroids in order to bombard the Nezu's planet as a prelude to invasion in 2373. When Captain Kathryn Janeway of the USS Voyager discovered the plot, Goth was warned by Janeway to leave the Nezu alone. Goth refused before having his Etanian starship engaged the USS Voyager in a tense space battle. The two ship's were evenly matched that is until Tuvok was able to provide valuable data on the Etanian warship's weakness. The USS Voyager successfully counterattacked Goth's flagship and disabled them, ending his planned invasion for good, as he was forced to retreat. (VOY: "Rise")
