Gemini (constellation)
The constellation star chart
Resembling the twins Castor and Pollux from Greek mythology, Gemini was a constellation visible from Earth. This constellation contained the stars Alhena, Beta Geminorum, and Castor. Astronomical objects in this constellation were located in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
Gemini was partially visible on a viewscreen in the briefing room on the USS Enterprise in 2266. It was a star chart of the winter sky as seen from Earth. The constellation Gemini was visible in the upper left corner of the chart and identified by name. (TOS: "The Corbomite Maneuver")
