Flight simulation

A flight simulation was the use of electronic or mechanical systems to train pilots and crew members in flying an aircraft or spacecraft.

In 2368, while talking to Soren, William T. Riker said, "Later we'll try a flight simulation. Right now let's do a systems review. I'll talk you through it." (TNG: "The Outcast")

In 2372, Tom Paris fell in love with a stumbling Kes when he caught her during a flight simulation. (VOY: "Parturition")
