Flight Proficiency Award was an award presented to a Starfleet Academy cadet after successfully proving their flying capabilities as a squadron pilot in an academy training wing. The award was signed by the wing commander, the flight instructor, the squadron leader, and a representative of the Academy Flight Ops.

During his time at the Academy, Harry Kim was awarded this award upon achieving proficiency as a pilot for Falcon Squadron. Third Academy Training Wing. (VOY: "Non Sequitur")
