First team

A first team was a highly skilled sports team.

In 2373, Belle was playing Parrises squares on the first team with older children on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when her father Kenneth changed the family schedule, having her play on the second team on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays instead. He felt it was too dangerous for her to play with older kids, but she said that was what made it fun. Later, when he explained that he was trying his best to be a good father, she agreed to play on the second team. (VOY: "Real Life")
