Fahleena III

Fahleena III was the inhabited third planet in its star system.

Along with Mariah IV and Ultima Thule, Fahleena III was a stop on a route formerly taken by Valerian traders supplying weapons-grade dolamide to the Cardassians.

The Valerian transport ship Sherval Das visited this planet in 2369. (DS9: "Dramatis Personae")

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
"fah-LEE-nuh" was the pronunciation for this planet's name from the script pronunciation guide. [1] However, StarTrek.com has the pronunciation as "fell-LEE-nuh". [2](X) Futhermore, StarTrek.com located the primary Fahleena in the Bajor-Cardassia region of the Alpha Quadrant. [3](X)
According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Fahleena system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a trinary system with two M-class stars and a K-class star. In the late 24th century, this was an independent system.
