Eddie Smith (1 December 19241 June 2005; age 80) was an actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator who played an Enterprise sciences crewman in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "The Corbomite Maneuver". As a background performer, he received no credit for his role.

He filmed his scene on Thursday 2 June 1966 at Desilu Stage 9.

Smith started his career in Hollywood as a background extra and stand-in, appearing in films such as Imitation of Life (1958, with Elinor Donahue and Joseph Mell), To Kill a Mockingbird (1962, with Brock Peters, William Windom, Frank Overton, John Megna, Paul Fix, Richard Hale, Walter Bacon, Noble Chissell and Max Wagner), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963, Milton Berle, with Buster Keaton, Janos Prohaska, Al Cavens, Dick Cherney, Noble Chissell, Monty O'Grady and Max Wagner), Elvis Presley's Roustabout (1964, with Marianna Hill, Carey Foster, Lance LeGault and K.L.
