Earth lodge

An earth lodge was a lodge covered with or composed of soil to some degree.

An earth lodge was part of a ritual among the Amerind inhabitants. In 2268 on his joining day, an amnesiac Captain James T. Kirk, temporarily known as Kirok, took the holy path to the earth lodge where his joining with Tribal Priestess Miramanee took place. (TOS: "The Paradise Syndrome")
