Dulcet thistle was a plant, commonly thought to be extinct. It could be used to produce an illegal drug that, when added to one's beverage, created a potent sensory experience.

In 2324, Alok Sahar posed as a dealer of dulcet thistle to meet with Philippa Georgiou on the Baraam. After they both partook of the drug, Georgiou confronted him about being a Section 31 operative. (Star Trek: Section 31)
