Dayos

Dayos was a planetary system in the Beta Quadrant. A planet in this system, Dayos IV, was home to one of the the Albino's ex-wives in the 2360s.

Stellar cartography

In 2257, the system's location was labeled on the star chart showing the trajectory of Lieutenant Spock's shuttle. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")

In 2259, the location of this system was labeled in a stellar cartography chart seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. The system's symbol was a red Klingon Empire logo, indicating its affiliation with the empire. (SNW: "Children of the Comet")

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
The name of this system came from the source material used, the Star Trek: Star Charts and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library, to create the star charts seen in both Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard.
The primary of the Dayos system was classified as a G-class star by the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 64) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385").
